I really enjoyed the family dynamics in this story, as well as the series. The sisters had unique voices and approaches to life, family, and love, which made the series a good read.
This was the first book I ever read by Cynthia Eden, and I've been a fan ever since. Actually, I didn't read the book. I picked up an electronic copy at my local library a couple of years ago. It was absolutely wonderful. She writes great heroes, but even better heroines. Out of her many series, the "Deadly" series is by far my favorite.
This is an excellent series. The writing and art are top notch. Fiona Staples is a beast, and I appreciate the consistency of a single artist on every issue. A lot of hard work, for sure, but the final products are amazing and rewarding.
I've picked up every copy of this series, and it is a well-crafted and drawn series. Soule has done an extraordinary job teasing out the unique characteristics of Superman and Wonder Woman as heroes and people, nicely combining aspects and characters from their individual titles and mythologies. Wonder Woman and Superman are indeed the Power Couple of the DCU, and Charles Soule and Tony Daniel shows readers why every month.
